We are in search of a temporary Catering Manager in the hospitality industry, based in Sammamish, Washington. This role will involve liaising with clients to determine their catering needs, planning and executing events, and the maintaining high standards of this organization. Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable catering options.

• Manage the planning and execution of the venue setup for events, ensuring all necessary elements are in place for a successful event.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations.

• Facilitate the arrangement of seating, food and beverage serving, and table cleanliness during events.

• Keep track of catering expenses and maintain accurate records for all events.

• Ensure adherence to food and health industry safety regulations and standards.

• Stay updated with the latest catering trends to provide competitive catering services.

• Oversee the creation and dissemination of a weekly email communication to members.

• Lead Banquet event meetings for department heads.

• Handle additional tasks as directed by the Food and Beverage director.

Requirements

• Experience in Catering and Private Dining is required

• Must possess strong skills in Budget Processes

• Excellent Communication skills are required

• Event Planning experience is a necessity

• Special Event Planning skills are essential

• Catering Sales skills are a must

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Exceptional organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Excellent negotiation and leadership skills are required

• Experience with Reserve software is a plus
