At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Primary duties of a Training Specialist include, but are not limited to: * Training Development and Evaluation: Assist in analyzing and designing training programs under supervision, focusing on learning the systematic approach to training. * Program Coordination: Support the coordination and administration of training programs, gaining familiarity with processes and tools. * Material Design: Contribute to the development of training materials, such as job task lists and classroom resources, with guidance from senior staff. * Needs Analysis: Participate in needs analyses and assist in gathering training materials. * Program Support: Provide support in the design and implementation of training programs. * Lesson Planning: Help develop lesson plans and training presentations. * Training Delivery: Conduct basic training sessions, such as classroom and self-study modules, with oversight. * Compliance: Learn and apply CPCCo standards and procedures in training activities. Basic Qualifications * Intermediate Grade 14: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 2 or more years of relevant experience * Intermediate Grade 15: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 3 or more years of relevant experience The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience. Desired Qualifications * Experience working in the VISION development software program, or similar program. * Instructor qualification or training specialist qualification related to technical/functional operations of a nuclear facility (operation of pumps, valves, ventilation systems, waste transfer systems, chemical systems). * Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nuclear facilities in regard to training and to facility operations. Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on 40 hours per week: * Intermediate Grade 14: $72,925 - $91,975 * Intermediate Level Grade 15: $80,225 - $101,175 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
