GENERAL SUMMARY

Part of a team of systems analysts who support the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for the Human Resources (HR) department, and provides compensation analyst support to HR.

Systems Analyst role: Assists with testing to ensure that the HRIS supports business needs. Assists with interfaces between software, hardware, and people, using them to maximize business effectiveness within HR. Supports the company’s Human Resources Programs to meet strategic objectives and business needs. Responsible for HCM report writing and assists with data conversion by working with peers, leaders and consultants to ensure that data output and input is accurate.

Compensation Analyst role: Assists with wage and salary program administration (e.g., base pay, merits, general wage increases), position descriptions grading, incentive plans, executive compensation, inducements, position benchmarking. Responsible for running compensation related reports.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serves as a systems analyst and the back-up point of contact for HCM and HRIS projects, including software implementation, software updates, and other projects as assigned. Works closely with the Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Generalist and Payroll teammates to assist as requested with the payout of incentive plans, merit processing, general wage increases (GWI), stipends, recruiting/applicant tracking, etc. Assist with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting. Supports HR management with ad hoc research, reports, and analysis as required. Assist with submitting data into other systems, in addition to the HRIS system. May also help with surveys or related submittals from HRIS data. Analyzes data to solve issues that arise during the course of both normal business and special projects.

Serves as a systems analyst and the back-up point of contact for Payroll and Time Tracking/Absence system administration. Troubleshoot issues and offer potential solutions. Submit request for security role management & help maintain complex roles for timekeepers. Generate reports as needed from payroll data. Appropriately engages other HR and IS teammates to best support system tests and configuration changes (e.g., required interfaces, Workday releases, etc.).

Serve as a compensation analyst to support the Compensation & Benefits Analyst and other HR teammates with compensation administration. Participate in compensation surveys and maintain market data resources. Research and analyze survey results and industry trends. Review and benchmark new and/or updated position descriptions to determine grade level placement and FLSA status. Complete salary action reviews and identify appropriate ranges for job offers. Assist with the merit planning process and maintaining bargaining unit’s general wage increases.

Support lead analysts and management with special projects as needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in Business, Management Information Systems, Human Resources, Accounting, or other related field plus five years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll and/or Accounting. Must have at least one year of experience writing reports from an HRIS system. Additional HR or IT related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree on a one-to-one basis (experience may be concurrent).

HS Diploma/GED required.

Pay Range

$81,862.00 - $122,792.00 Annual

Midpoint:

$102,327.00

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
