If you would like to work with a highly skilled workforce to achieve unique and challenging goals that critically impact our environment and community, this is your chance to be a part of our legacy!The Strategic /Technical Interface manager reports to the Regulatory Strategy and Integration (RSI) Strategic Planning and Business Services manager with responsibility to facilitate the flow down of the Hanford Site Cleanup strategic initiatives to the projects, client and stakeholders to ensure consistent products and reflect strategic concepts with development and implementation of decision documents. The manager will be responsible to ensure that adequate tools and resources are available to plan and efficiently deliver work to:* Align with the Strategic Planning organization to understand the development of site-wide and OU-specific cleanup decision strategies in order to effectively bridge the strategic and implementation arms of the RSI organization* Facilitate the integration of work activities, resolution of issues and setting of priorities for matters primarily associated with selection of cleanup remedies as part of the environmental cleanup of the Hanford site* Coordinate the integration of CPCCo project staff, Hanford site contractors, and DOE staff for the resolution of issues that crosscut organizational boundaries as well as geographical cleanup decision boundaries* Monitor the points of interaction between the various technical elements of the CERCLA/RCRA projects, their corresponding decision documents and the individuals involved in product completion (ensuring that strategic elements are included in key meetings and decisions).The Cleanup and Closure Decision manager will play a key role in strategic discussions and integration of cross-cutting activities between other RSI departments and with CPPCo projects, while also routinely interfacing with DOE and the regulators.
