At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. As a Shift Operations Manager in the Soil and Groundwater Operations Project, you will direct bargaining unit personnel on a daily basis. Other tasks will be assigned such as taking the lead on special projects. Prepare work packages, preparation of Correction Action Management documents, interface with procedure development and other general operations functions. Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide technical guidance on repair method and /or operating techniques. Analyze equipment and systems problems to determine corrective actions to return equipment and systems to normal service. Support construction activities in the form of work package development, work release, oversight, and startup testing. Administer Lock and Tag. Maintains knowledge of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner, and if supervising others, has responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensure they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits. Able to work shift work if assigned. Basic Qualifications * Shift Operations Manager - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 8 years of relevant experience. * Able to obtain and maintain FWS qualification, Operations Supervisor qualification, and Lock and Tag Controlling Organization Administrator qualification. Desired Qualifications * Previous lead/management experience. * Experience in Operational Readiness Reviews and startup of new facilities/processes. * Broad familiarity with the nuclear and radiological facility requirements, as well as dangerous waste requirements. * Previous lock and tag controlling organization administrator experience. Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates. Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week): * Grade 20: $126,025 - $158,875 In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
