Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining the scheduling guides and procedures, maintaining scheduling tools, administrating the Primavera P6 database, and identifying opportunities for improvement. As a Senior Project Controls Specialist on our team, you will help mentor and develop other Project Controls Personnel. If you are a Project Controls Specialist who enjoys being challenged, takes initiative, and is eager to learn CPCCo processes and systems, we want to speak with you!A day in the life of a Project Controls Specialist involves the following:*Maintain effective two-way communication between the field projects and schedule integration, making sure that project requests and ideas are heard and that the communications from the central organization is clearly presented to the project in a timely manner.*Lead schedule health assessments, support overall Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance support with any and all P6 related questions and issues. Includes monthly validations of performance and forecast of the performance measurement baseline (PMB) and weekly validations of the Contractor performance plan (CPP). Mentoring project staff on routine schedule health validations.*Perform and lead advanced scheduling in P6 in alignment with EVMS. Support development, implementation, and integration of the CPP with the PMB schedule.*Perform critical path methodology critique and analysis. Serve as subject matter expert to provide feedback, schedule/planning improvement ideas to project team.*Manage effective scheduling, tracking, and reporting of performance measures, key performance goals and Tri-Party Agreement milestones.*Participate in baseline change request (BCR) development, quality control validation and post-implementation validation. This will include preparation of Cobra files to support BCR preparation.*Support Central staff with BCR validation and implementation into the PMB.*Support the Project in addressing EVMS anomalies proactively.*Support establishment of Rules of Performance (RoP) for monthly performance reports, spend forecasts and variance analysis. Perform analysis of RoP data for accuracy and support forecasting performance.*Be well versed in CPCCo scheduling guides, procedures and desktop instructions. Support consistent application of scheduling norms.*May be assigned temporary assignments with a Control Account Manager (CAM) to support the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of project estimates, cost analysis, schedule, and/or risk related tasks.Basic Qualifications*
