Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Senior Nuclear Project Scheduler position will be responsible for scheduling project activities, including date, time, and sequence, for Nuclear or Engineering projects. The role involves schedule maintenance using Passport and Primavera tools, assisting project managers with developing schedules for on-line, outage, and life-cycle projects, and ensuring timely, accurate schedule delivery. Key duties include resolving conflicts, managing schedule adherence, and developing long-term plans for various project sizes. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $57.13 - $79.31

Responsibilities:
- Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations.
- Perform schedule maintenance using Passport and Primavera scheduling tools.
- Assist project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage, and life-cycle projects, including Enterprise Risk projects.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Resolve conflicts related to schedule adherence and adjust schedules as needed.
- Develop out-year schedules for various project sizes and ensure timely, accurate schedule delivery.
- Deliver a comprehensive and coherent set of schedules for daily, on-line, and outage work periods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 8 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management,
- OR associate's degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 10 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering or technical project management,
- OR high school diploma or GED and 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
- SRO License or Certification.
- Advanced knowledge of work management and outage work processes and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of the Passport program and its interface with Primavera scheduling tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera scheduling software and basic scheduling techniques (Primavera 106 Training Certification or 4 years of experience).
- Working knowledge of report development software (e.g., Crystal Reports) and database analysis.
- Working knowledge of outage and on-line risk management software (Paragon).
- PMP certification.
- Working knowledge of management techniques (e.g., situational leadership, performance management, time management).
- Ability to collaborate with teams and departments to develop integrated plant schedules.
- Strong problem-solving skills, minimizing schedule conflicts.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
