ManpowerGroup Senior Mechanical Engineer in Richland, Washington

Our client, a global leader in engineering and construction, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer, to contribute to the design of fluid and gas systems within the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) process facilities.

Your work will involve preparing technical reports, studies, and design documentation, performing calculations using engineering software, and specifying complex mechanical equipment for waste treatment processes and supporting systems.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer NS&E

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $ 45-75/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Design fluid and gas systems for the waste treatment process.

  • Develop design documents and technical reports.

  • Perform calculations and create specifications for complex equipment.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and disciplines on project development.

  • Resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering.

  • 9+ years of experience in fluid system design.

  • Experience with ASME codes and standards.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • US Citizenship required (ability to obtain a Department of Energy badge).
