ManpowerGroup Senior Equipment Stress Engineer in Richland, Washington

Our client, a global leader in environmental cleanup projects, seeks a seasoned Senior Equipment Stress Engineer to join their groundbreaking initiative.

Shape the Future as you design and analyze complex equipment for a one-of-a-kind environmental project. Every Other Friday Off! This position offers a 9/80 schedule with paid time off every other Friday.

Job Title: Senior Equipment Stress Engineer

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $ 45-75/hr (based on experience)

What’s the Job?

  • Design and analyze critical equipment using advanced software.

  • Develop detailed calculations and specifications for safe equipment operation.

  • Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to optimize designs.

  • Support the creation of high-quality equipment drawings.

  • Resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to industry standards.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 13+ years of experience.

  • Expertise in equipment design, analysis, and fabrication (vessels, tanks, etc.).

  • Proficiency in CFD (STAR-CCM+ or ANSYS Fluent) and FEA (ANSYS) software.

  • Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and acoustics.

  • US Citizenship required.
