ManpowerGroup Senior Equipment Stress Engineer in Richland, Washington

Our client, a global engineering leader in building groundbreaking infrastructure, seeks a Senior Equipment Stress Engineer to join their Hanford Vit Plant project team.

As a Senior Equipment Stress Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and analyzing complex mechanical equipment for this first-of-its-kind waste treatment facility. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant, protecting the environment for generations to come.

Job Title: Senior Equipment Stress Engineer

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $ 45-75hr (based on experience)

What’s the Job?

  • Perform structural and thermal analyses using CFD and FEA software.

  • Review equipment designs and calculations by vendors.

  • Collaborate with other engineers to resolve technical challenges.

  • Support the creation of equipment drawings and specifications.

  • Prepare reports and studies for complex technical issues.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 13+ years of experience.

  • Experience with ASME codes and standards for pressure vessels and piping.

  • Proficiency in CFD software (STAR-CCM+ or ANSYS Fluent).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • US Citizenship required.
