Job Duties/Scope Of Work Essential job duties of this position include: - Manage the adoption of Extended Reality (XR)-based solutions in alignment with Hanford Mission objectives and leadership guidance. - Establish technical scope, budget and schedule baseline objectives and ensures these objectives are met while maintaining quality of deliverables. - Primary point of contact for XR, driving day-to-day client engagement, adoption of products, and handling escalations as needed. - Maintain liaison with client representatives to ensure proper and timely involvement and approvals as well as a professional and business-like client/company relationship throughout the life of the project. - Achieve and maintain Buyers Technical Representative (BTR) in good status. - Establish new and maintain in good standing existing customer relationships. - Manage XR projects from initiation to completion in accordance with site and industry standards and in alignment with Geospatial & Operations Site Systems Manager guidance. - Employ knowledge of XR concepts to ensure solutions meet customer needs and efficiently make use of modern standards and tools. - Ensure all XR software and systems are maintained and upgraded to meet industry standards, comply with security expectations, and provide users with a modern XR toolset. - Maintain knowledge of and actively pursue industry trends and emerging technologies. - Ensure data is managed in compliance with site standards and industry regulations. - Manage project resources to accomplish project objectives and ensure quality services and products are rendered and regularly provide input regarding performance of resources to the Geospatial & Operations Site Systems Manager. - Prepare and present project status reports. - Prepare, present, and work to project schedules. - Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project life cycle, effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, and track project milestones and deliverables to completion. - Prioritize work in alignment with roadmaps, strategic planning, and the Geospatial & Operations Site Systems Manager guidance. - Ensure project artifacts are compliant with current documentation standards. - Advise management of developments that could affect project budget, schedule, costs, client relations, and inter-departmental or inter-divisional relations. - Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. - Prepare, present, and work to reliable project estimates. - Provide input to the Geospatial & Operations Site Systems Manager regarding program strategic planning. - Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by Geospatial & Operations Site Systems Manager. - Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures and perform assigned duties in a safe manner, and while supervising others, have responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensure they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits.as assigned by Geospatial & Operations Site Systems leadership. Relocation May Be Authorized Basic Qualifications - BA/BS degree in a business-related field or technology-related field, plus eight (8) years of experience - OR - an equivalent combination and experience. - Direct experience in managing technology related projects. - Exceptionally strong organization skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently as well as successfully lead team efforts. - Strong understanding of Information Management and Technology components, architecture, and disciplines. - Strong social skills and the ability to employ tact and discretion to effectively communicate in various different scenari
