Location: Richland, WA Type: Contract Job #7620 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Manager I position offers the opportunity to lead and manage projects with minimal supervision. This role will oversee teams of 5-10 people, plan, schedule, and control activities, while ensuring adherence to budget and timelines, establish priorities, maintain a broad understanding of project details, and leverage your knowledge of project management best practices to continuously improve efficiency. This role requires collaboration with finance, project controls, and other managers to ensure successful project execution. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. This includes all aspects of project implementation including budget, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, risk management, and work execution including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts. Develops the budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors Develops project schedules commensurate with project complexity and size with the goal of being able to manage risk, accurately track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management Develop and maintain long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program Support the following: Outage support including OCC Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 8 years' experience in a technical field OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 10 years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND 12 years' experience in a technical field Error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies Managing projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage management related activities Standard project management techniques RO/SRO License or CGS Management Cert preferred Project Management Cert preferred Construction Management Cert preferred Work experience in the role of direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry environment, focused on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction preferred Nuclear plant operator production coordination experience, work management experience in conducting and
