Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Project Manager 2 in Richland, Washington
Overview
The individual filling this role will join a team of skilled professionals that are primarily tasked with administering, developing, maintaining, delivering, and evaluating documentation and training programs used by PNNL’s Radiochemical Processing Laboratory (RPL) and the broader Facilities and Infrastructure Operations (F&IO) division. Examples of the programs and curricula supported by this team include Nuclear Operations and Facility Safety, Worker Safety and Health, Environmental, Emergency Management, and Radiological Worker/ Radiological Protection.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of PNNL training and development initiatives associated with Radiochemical Processing Laboratory and the broader Facilities and Operations organization. Meeting the needs of these organizations involves:
Alignment of training programs with organizational strategy, commitments, and goals.
Developing and maintaining training programs and required documentation in accordance with regulatory and contractual guidance.
Administration, development, update, implementation, and evaluation of training programs and associated documentation.
Supporting line managers with responsibility for ensuring workforce compliance with required
Supporting learners as they work to complete qualification programs, certifications, and miscellaneous compliance training activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA and 7+ years of experience -OR-
MS/MA or higher and 5+ years of relevant project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity and experience with the employment of the following DOE regulations and guidance documents:
DOE O 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities
DOE HDBK 1078-94, Training Program Handbook: A Systematic Approach to Training
10 CFR Part 835 - Occupational Radiation Protection, Subpart J - Radiation Safety Training
Familiarity and experience applying the ADDIE and SAT models
