Location: Richland, Washington Type: Contract Job #7744 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Coordinator position will be responsible for staff oversight, budget management, stakeholder communication, strategic planning, safety compliance, and support program implementation. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Provide leadership and direction to staff involved in planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely resolution of issues. Develop project budgets, track costs versus budget, and take proactive measures to address any deviations, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness. Maintain regular communication with clients, engineers, vendors, and management to ensure alignment of project goals, progress updates, and timely resolution of any concerns or conflicts. Develop and manage contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely delivery of goods and services. Develop and maintain long-range strategies for assigned projects, identifying potential risks and opportunities to optimize project outcomes. Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various stakeholders, including senior management, providing comprehensive updates on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with industrial and nuclear safety regulations, ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) planning, and other relevant safety protocols throughout project implementation. Prioritize work assignments, allocate resources effectively, and resolve schedule delays or conflicts to ensure project milestones are achieved on time. Support the effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program, as well as outage support activities, including coordination with the Operations Control Center (OCC). Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 1 year of experience in a technical field OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 3 years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years' experience in a technical field. Project Management Certification is a plus. Construction Management Certification is a plus. Basic project management techniques. Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution. Basic use of computer software tools (MS Office). experience in implementing strategies to minimize errors and enhance human performance in the workplace. Ability to optimize resources and workflows to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
