Location: Richland, Washington Type: Contract Job #7741 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Coordinator position will manage all aspects of projects, ensuring efficiency and financial adherence. This role will act as a project specialist with in-depth knowledge, staying up to date on new developments to recommend improvements. Additionally, this Project Coordinator will create accurate project budgets and keep projects on track financially. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Plan, schedule, and control project and program activities to ensure timely and efficient completion. Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members effectively. Serve as a specialist for specific projects, possessing detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects. Provide guidance and expertise to team members based on specialized knowledge. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of new developments and emerging technologies relevant to projects. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to inform project decisions. Monitor ongoing projects closely to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Analyze project performance and recommend changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Develop accurate budgetary estimates for projects, considering all relevant factors such as resources, timelines, and potential risks. Ensure budgetary constraints are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. Provide financial oversight and accountability for project expenditures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in a technical field. OR Associate degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related technical curriculum from an accredited college or university, and three years of experience in a technical field. OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of experience in a technical field. Basic project management techniques. Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution. Basic use of computer software tools. Ability to exercise sound judgment, weighing alternative courses of action and making decisions that are based on factual information and rational assumptions, taking organization resources into consideration. Demonstrated ability in planning and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must establish goals, set priorities, and maintain an awareness of interrelationships among activities. Possess strong project management skills and abilities, including leading projects and initiatives. Ability to develop cost to benefit analysis in support of project options.
