Acuity-PT&C is a world-class project management/project services with an ever-expanding list of public and private clients. Acuity-PT&C is actively recruiting a Project Controls and Cost Analysis Professional to provide support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) at Hanford, WA. Candidate is expected to support budget planning, analyzing performance metrics and provide general cost/schedule activities. DOE Hanford knowledge and/or experience is not required but is preferred. Primary Skills: Project Management Professional, Certified Cost Professional, or other recognized professional certification preferred but not required. Strong written and oral presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organization skills. Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously. Strong initiative. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and high-end Excel features, including functions and pivot tables. Proficiency with Microsoft Software including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook. Excellent communication and interface skills; ability to elicit information and utilize in development of products and provision of support is required. Required skills for project controls: Familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling software, Able to evaluate and monitor project schedule for integrity, reliability, and accuracy, Able to review and analyze a contractor's earned value management system (EVMS) data and other cost and schedule performance information, Able to develop charts, metrics, or other documentation to support the reporting and presentation of project performance for the overall TOC project and sub- projects to DOE management and subject matter experts, Able to perform risk evaluation(s) and analysis of all aspects of individual and combined risks, by activity, to include support for development and review of documentation for risk management program, tracking and reporting of monthly risk changes, and data collection, calculation, and analysis of monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) values. Required skills for cost analysts: Able to evaluate proposed direct and indirect cost elements for cost reasonableness, cost realism, and possible over/understatements using all applicable acquisition regulations, contract terms and conditions and results of any technical evaluations performed. Able to compile, format, analyze, and report on large datasets. Able to develop data-driven solutions to complex problems. Able to operate in a dynamic environment that evolves regularly based on client needs. Required Qualifications: MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN BS/BA degree in Finance, Management, or relevant field of study. Alternately, an accredited high school certificate plus years of specialized financial management experience in addition to the requisite experience Project Management Professional, Certified Cost Professional, or other recognized professional certification preferred but not required.
