UDR is seeking qualified candidates for aProcedure Writeropportunity inRichland, WAto support the Hanford Site. Work Location:Work location will depend on final buyer determination, however there are four potential work locations: 271T, WESF, or MO294 on the Hanford Site and 2620 Fermi Drive in Richland. SCOPE OF WORK Provide personnel capable of performing the roles, responsibilities and duties ofProcedure Writer* Develop procedures including drafting, editing, and revising and performing comment resolution. * Perform equipment walk downs to verify field conditions for new and existing procedures. * Work with functional managers, technical authorities, subject matter experts, and field workers to ensure procedures are written in an appropriate manner for the training, qualification, and experience of the workers. * Ensure the level of detail prescribed in procedures is appropriately balanced with the training required for the position performing the work. * Support development of new procedures and streamlining efforts at the program and project level. * Ensure compliance with CPCCo Procedures standard and process. * Provide daily interface with technical authorities, functional managers, and subject matter experts. Provide support to the Procedures organization on an as-needed basis, to include: Develop procedures including drafting, editing, and revising and performing comment resolution. Perform equipment walk downs to verify field conditions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education - Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with 5 or more years of training and/or procedure development experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Buyer accepts 8 years of directly related experience in lieu of a BA/BS degree. U.S. Citizenship PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Experience with the Job Hazard Analysis process. Experience working with a procedure management system. Experience developing and implementing technical procedures for operations. Knowledge and understanding of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Knowledge of regulatory requirements for training and facility operations. Capable of developing and delivering operational, maintenance, or other technical training related to operation of pumps, valves, ventilation systems, waste transfer systems, chemical systems, radiological controls, Lockout/Tagout process, conduct of operations, and documented safety analysis. Capable of developing and delivering training related to administrative processes for operators, operation supervisors, operation managers, radiological control technicians, radiological control supervisors and managers, maintenance craft, and maintenance management, etc. Security and Badging Requirements For any on-site work, general site access badging is required. Special clearance requirements will be provided, if applicable. Site Access and Work Hours Work shall be done on a 4 x 10 schedule. The standard workday consists of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch. No work occurs on the non-working Fridays. If schedule alternative is required, Buyer's Technical Representative (BTR) will communicate to Contractor's point of contact.
