PAE Government Services, Inc. Plant Management Project Manager in Richland, Washington

The Plant Management Project Manager reports to the Deputy Plant Manager and is responsible for planning and executing Plant-related projects throughout the Facility. Working with the Management Team, the Project Manager integrates work execution among the Plant Management Zone Teams and drives assigned scopes of work across Plant Management, including Maintenance, Operations, Plant Engineering, Subcontractors, Work Week Management, Outage Planning, Procurement, and Completion Team functions. This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS Lead both long-term and short-term duration projects, such as system outages, equipment / system refurbishment activities, system tuning and grooming evolutions, or equipment / system replacement activities Define project goals, align internal and external teams, build project timelines and dependencies. Track key performance indicators for effective work execution Ensure work is performed within the constraints of the Project\'s forecast schedule, production control schedule, and within the Integrated Safety Management System framework Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop plans to monitor and track the progress of projects Coordinate with internal and external parties for execution of projects Manage relationships between departmental teams, management, and stakeholders Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools Perform risk management analysis as necessary to reduce project risks Report and escalate issues to upper management as and when needed Manage schedule performance opportunities and recovery actions Excellent inter-personal and inter-departmental communication skills needed to facilitate project milestones. Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with peers and management May make presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment This job description is not intended to include every duty, task or instruction for which an employee is responsible. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Leads matrixed teams of various sizes and functions needed to complete project scope. REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Bachelor\'s degree from a four-year accredited college or university. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project manager, department manager or supervisor. Related DOE, DOD, or high hazard facility experience that included support for facility construction, startup, commissioning, and / or operations required. Experience in managing cross-disciplinary matrixed teams preferred. Project management certification, such as PMP, preferred. Advanced degree may count toward experience. OR Associate\'s degree in a technical, administration, or management field and 12 years of experience as a project manager, department manager or supervisor. Related DOE, DOD, or high hazard facility experience that included support for facility construction, startup, commissioning, and / or operations required. Experience in managing cross-disciplinary matrixed teams is preferred. Project management certification, such as PMP, preferred.
