ManpowerGroup Piping Support Engineer in Richland, Washington

Our client, a leader in the engineering and construction industry, is seeking a Piping Support Engineer to join their team. As a Piping Support Engineer, you will be part of the Mechanical Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality designs. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments, aligning successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Piping Support Engineer

Location: Richland, WA

Pay: $58/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and locate supports for various piping systems, adhering to industry standards and codes.

  • Perform detailed calculations and structural analysis for pipe supports.

  • Collaborate with layout, pipe stress, and other support engineers to deliver quality, cost-effective designs.

  • Work in a 3D modeling environment to extract 2D pipe support drawings.

  • Coordinate with vendors and other engineering disciplines as necessary.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Engineering with 6+ years of related experience (9+ years for senior-level positions).

  • Strong knowledge of AISC, ASME B31.3, and other industry codes and standards.

  • Experience using structural analysis software for piping systems.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
