Incyte Diagnostics Phlebotomist (on call) Tri Cities region in Richland, Washington

Our Phlebotomists perform a variety of procedures, including venipuncture and dermal punctures. Point of care testing (POCT) used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases from patients of all ages; responsible for collecting and processing laboratory specimens in an accurate and timely manner, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Above all, delivery/exhibiting & communication skills is pivotal for our Phlebotomists, in support of our delivery of service to patients and to our clients, within the medical community. Location Tri Cities Region: Walla Walla, WA, Richland, WA and/or Pendleton, OR Schedule: On Call, min. of 19 hours/week - must be able to work a minimum 1 day, per week, if work is available, including Saturdays Premium pay, flexible schedule (in return for reliability) You Will: Specimen collection, handling, and processing Assist in maintaining laboratory areas, equipment, and supplies Participate in committees and task forces Easily adapt to new and changing roles, responsibilities, demands, and technologies Keep current on regulatory requirements On Call - drive to assigned location Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Current MA-P certification from the Washington Department of Health - for Washington Patient Service Centers - required Possess a minimum of two years' experience, strongly preferred and completion of accredited Phlebotomy training program and clinical rotation preferred Previous laboratory experience preferred Knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, particularly peers, team members, supervisors, managers, and other departments Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Incyte Diagnostics is an EOE, including disability/veterans Other career options: Incyte Diagnostics is an EEO employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
