Hanford Mission Integration Solutions Operations Support Specialist (39788) in Richland, Washington
Job Duties/Scope Of Work • Assess and reconcile FIND real property data with Sunflower, DOE's approved property management system, and FIMS to ensure accuracy ss source documentation for FIMS validation, support local contractor inquiries and DOE Headquarters reporting. • Directly support data calls, such as asset size, year built, usage codes, % utilized, etc, and loading into FIMS in accordance with the Fiscal Year Facilities Information Management System Reporting Deadlines and Validation Guidance. • Field work includes asset walkdowns for data validation, verification of Anticipated Asset Information Module (AAIM), and HSSL assets. • Working with site contractors, maintain accurate facility information, maintenance costs, and operational status of their facilities. • Provide system admin/user support for FIMS and FIND applications for site contractors, DOE HFO and DOE HQ. • Lead management assessment activities to enhance FIMS and FIND processes and procedures. • Interface with site contractors and multiple site applications to maintain data integrity. • Assist with continuous improvement of software systems including testing and user instruction development. • Verify GIS mapping data and ensure accurate information is contained in FIND and other site databases. • Support companywide reporting to meet contract deliverables. Basic Qualifications • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 6 years of experience with facility management and/or maintenance. • Experience operating facility property/asset management tracking systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, pivot tables, formatting, and formulas. • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Desired Qualifications • Experience with federal data systems, examples include FIMS and CAIS data systems. • Familiarity with IDMS, DMCS, and Sunflower database or similar record and property/asset management system. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interface with multiple Hanford Site contractors. • Ability to manage a high volume of work with changing conditions.
