ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Manager oversees project planning, scheduling, and execution with minimal supervision. They lead and manage project teams, set priorities, and stay informed about project details. The role requires a strong understanding of project management, strategic thinking, financial management, and collaboration with various departments. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay range: $46.85 - $80.41 Benefits: * Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * The project manager I manages project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work as assigned, providing oversight of the staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure that work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget * This includes all aspects of project implementation including budget, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, risk management, and work execution including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts * Develops the budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects * Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management * Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors * Develops project schedules commensurate with project complexity and size with the goal of being able to manage risk, accurately track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float * Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management * Develop and maintain long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects * Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program * Support the following: * Outage support including OCC Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 8 years' experience in a technical field * OR associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 10 years' experience in a technical field * OR high school diploma/GED AND 12 years' experience in a technical field * Error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies * Managing projects, on-line work management, or refueling and forced outage management related activities * Standard project management techniques * RO/SRO License or CGS Management Cert desired * Project Management Cert desired * Construction Management Cert desired * Work experience in the role of direct supervisor or project manager in the commercial nuclear industry environment, focused on maintenance, operations, engineering, or construction * Nuclear plant operator production coordin To view the full job description,
