City of Richland Journey Lineworker (Power Operations) in Richland, Washington
General Summary
Under the direction of the Maintenance & Operations Supervisor or designee, performs skilled installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of the City's electrical utility distribution and transmission systems. Prepares and updates reports and records, including updating work order maps. Subject to 24-hour callout for emergency situations.
The expected regular work schedule will be four 10-hour shifts per week.
Per the IBEW contract all employees classified as Journey Lineworker will receive climbing allowance of 1.5% additional pay for all hours worked plus leave hours (does not apply to leave pay-outs or buy-outs).
