Job Duties/Scope Of Work HMIS Information Management specializes in developing innovative IT solutions in support of the cleanup mission at the Hanford Site. As an IT Product Manager at HMIS, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Hanford Site product portfolio and drive the success of the cleanup mission. Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) is looking for an experienced Product Manager with a background in cybersecurity. The Product Manager will focus on creating strategic IT roadmaps, business cases, and performing portfolio assessments to plans. Implementing product management processes will be in partnership with the project management teams and senior management. This position is a mission-critical player within the organization, delivering on IT/IS projects supporting the One Hanford mission with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. The selected candidate will facilitate the planning and deployment phase of the product lifecycle for key cybersecurity initiatives. This is accomplished via communication with stakeholders and creation of business cases, requirements, performing studies, and evaluating alternative technologies to arrive at the optimal solution to implement based on the needs of the users. They will create milestone schedules and status key stakeholders throughout the planning process. Once planning documentation and approvals are received, this person will meet with the technical team during execution, providing status updates to the client. As the solution reaches deployment, this person will create a plan and drive the creation of materials for training and deployment. They will follow up with the customer post-deployment to assess if further training or enhancements are needed. Essential job duties include: •Create preliminary top-level schedule and budget as part of business case creation. •Coordinate and lead meetings with external and internal stakeholders to assess the current landscape, gather user feedback and requirements, and identify optimal solutions and alternatives in the interest of driving alignment among all stakeholders, with a focus on cybersecurity. •Collaborate with IT subject matter experts, cybersecurity teams, and CIO leadership to coordinate and drive the planning lifecycle. •Status management and clients on schedule and risks to the project. •Analyze and research product opportunities and discover insights to improve product functionality and client experience. Basic Qualifications •Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of IT product management and/or IT customer service/operational support experience to include customer interaction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. •Must possess the ability to interface well with technical customers, business-oriented teaming partners, and construction management and infrastructure teams to deliver value added solutions. •Strong presentation and communication skills. •Understanding of product lifecycle. •Experience working with budgets, developing make versus buy decision criteria, and evaluating financial risk analysis for concurrent projects. •Must be a team player. Desired Qualifications •Knowledge or working experience with Wide and Local Area Network enterprise server and desktop environments, related systems, policies, procedures, and processes. •Cybersecurity experience. •Project Management Professional (PMP). •Risk assessment development experience.
