City of Richland IT Applications Supervisor in Richland, Washington

Target Hiring Range: $8,406.67 - $10,088.00 Monthly (DOQ)

The City of Richland is searching for an IT Applications Supervisor to join our team. This team member ensures that the application development and integration efforts are in alignment with the business of the City and its customer departments by driving technology strategy as well as the project management activities. They meet the project needs of the IT division's customers while ensuring that the technologies deployed work within an overall framework supported by the division. Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the Information Technology Manager ("supervisor"). Continuous supervision is exercised over assigned personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Obtain PMP Certification within one (1) year of hire and maintain throughout employment.
  • Valid driver's license.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree with coursework in information systems, or related field and six (6) or more years of experience in IT application development, including two (2) years in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desirable Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in ERP, WO, and Asset Management systems.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Tyler MUNIS software.
  • Prior experience working for a municipality in Information Technology.
  • Knowledge and experience in business analytics and project management.
  • Strong customer service and communications skills.
Supplemental Information
