Event Laborers/Traffic Control Set-up

Richland, WA

1 Day Event - Sept 21st, 2024

$30/hr | 12-14hrs | $315-$441 | Plus transportation reimbursement over 25 miles one way

Washington LaborMax is in need of several laborers who want to set up the traffic control equipment for $30/hr and can expect to work 12-14 hours that day.

*Laborers will meet in Kennewick and travel with a crew all day throughout the race. *

Flaggers will be given ONE station and stay there for the whole day.

* You will be paid the following Monday for this position. *

This would be a great opportunity for you to sign up with us and work as a flagger out of our Spokane, Tacoma, and/or Everett locations part time, on-call, weekends, and/or for storm-call as well!

LaborMax managers will be onsite for the whole event giving breaks, handing out water and snacks, and providing additional support to crews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Using WSDOT/MUTCD standards to control traffic and set up traffic control devices on the road
• Maintains a professional mannerism at all times while communicating with the drivers, crews, and their flagging partner(s)
• Work the whole event start to finish
• Work with the crews to manage and set up their work site quickly and efficiently and be ready to make last minute changes as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Washington State Flaggers Certification Card

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
