Job Details Job Location Richland - Richland, WA Position Type Full Time   Salary Range $19.00 - $23.00 Hourly Travel Percentage None Description Position Summary: This position will have primary responsibility for providing mental health intakes for identified children and adults in accordance with WAC and agency policies. Responsibilities: Provide intake assessment, diagnosis and ongoing brief and community support services to identified children, families and adults in a culturally competent manner within the most appropriate environment. Provide services and maintain records to meet WAC requirements and agency policy. Complete all required documentation in the EHR currently including but not limited to the Intake Evaluation, Special Population Evaluation, Treatment Plan, Safety Plan if indicated, and Progress Note. The intake specialist will be responsible for completing all paperwork within a 48 hour period. Develop treatment plans which focus on consumer strengths, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement. At least one goal will be documented at time of the intake assessment. Treatment plans will also include consumer voice; include RUMBA language (Realistic, understandable, measurable, behavioral, and attainable). Evidence-based practices for consumers will be a priority. Coordinate consumer treatment with other Catholic Charities providers. Recommend other resources that may be valuable to the consumers treatment as appropriate. Participate in supervision, multi-disciplinary team staffing, training, ethnic consultation and psychiatric consultation as required. Qualifications Job Requirements: The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of this position. Physical Requirements: This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision. Non-Physical Requirements: Education Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family therapy, or one of the social sciences Experience 2 years experience in Mental Health service delivery Special Skills Strong assessment skills Possess clear verbal and written communication skills Ability to conduct out office intake assessments if requested Ability to provide service in a culturally competent manner Ability to complete assessments independently and work collaboratively as a team member Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner Licensure, Registration, Certification LMHCA, LICSWA, LMHS, LICSW, Agency Affiliated License Recognition as an MHP based on licensure Valid Washington state drivers license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State for WA State Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider Employment is conditional upon: Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required Excited about this role, but don't meet 100% of the expected qualifications listed above?
