Job Description Summary The Project Manager role is responsible for developing, managing, executing, and directing multiple projects across Consumer Affairs & Product Recall, Food Safety and Quality. Depending on the workload and constraints, he/she may at times manage or be part of a project team(s). Job Description Position Responsibilities: * Provide leadership for the successful development and execution of capital and non-capital project(s) for Consumer Affairs & Product Recall, Food Safety, and Quality, across Lamb Weston platform with strong emphasis on Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Service. Projects include but not limited to: * Consolidation of chemical supplier for sanitation chemicals-this requires coordination between procurement, plants, and the suppliers and in some cases changes or modifications to current systems at the plants (requiring help from engineering and capital dollars) * Batter upgrade/standardization work across each plant. This requires managing the project plan implementation across business groups (Engineering, Production, FSQA etc.) * Accountable for leading cross-functional teams through project life cycle. * Gain alignment with sponsors and stakeholders * Responsible for project management, ensuring Food Safety and Quality projects meet agreed scope, specification, budget, and quality requirements. This may include investigative tasks, troubleshooting activities, and project development supporting plants and corporate initiatives. * Support engineering, construction management, procurement and cost control resources for development and execution of project scope, cost, and schedule (from concept to initial production) of multi - discipline capital projects. Ensure adherence to Food Safety/Quality and EHS (Environment Health and Safety) standards. * Develop project plans and track performance utilizing project management tools and controls. * Accountable for providing the Project Sponsor and Stakeholders with a routine status of the project and portfolio, actively communicating scope/schedule/budget opportunities, issues, and risks, and ensuring that leadership alignment is priority. * Work with Central Engineering and Operational leadership to ensure the project(s) are successfully implemented and technical benefits and value are captured for high complexity projects. * Interact with top management outside of Compliance and Regulation team on key equipment and material vendors, engineering consultants, and installation contractors. * Provide co-ordination of all resources to deliver successful project(s) on time and within budget. * Define, implement, and measure metrics and
