Amentum Engineering Coordinator IV in Richland, Washington
The Engineering Coordinator is responsible to aid in the development, approval, status tracking and closure of work packages and engineering work task assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operations and maintenance resources to effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies.
This position uses established automation tools (InfoWorks, Adobe, ProjectWise, Scanning Software, SharePoint Portal, Microsoft Office, etc.) to provide technical support to the WTP Site Support Services engineering group in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The Engineering Coordinator must be flexible with changing priorities occurring quite frequently due to operational needs.
This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS
Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work to protect self, others, and the environment.

Prioritize incoming work utilizing strong organizational skills, anticipating issues, developing solutions, and implementing plans of action.
Administrative, organizational and computer skills, including proficiency in MSOffice programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Interface with internal and external customers to resolve questions or issues related to document requirements, document numbering, work process, electronic signatures, document legibility, etc.
Compile information needed to support project activities.
Perform various data extraction and report generation.
Assist with evaluating and implementing work process improvements in related areas of responsibilities.
Support special tasks associated with independent project reviews, peer reviews, audits, etc.
Obtain, assign, distribute and track unique document numbers based on established procedures.
Review documentation and various database entries for accuracy and consistency.
Support Superintendents in scheduling work activities in a manner that ensures project resources are efficiently allocated to support applicable phases of operations.
Coordinate work package readiness and release for daily/weekly activities.
Interface with other organizations to provide updates for work schedules, priorities, and resource assignment.
Performs analysis of Work Execution/Scheduling and develops reports, charts and graphs/metrics to accurately measure Work Execution performance.
Provide status and updates to the various project level schedules.
Maintain updates and status reporting on Punchlist items.
Responsible for understanding plant business processes as they pertain to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Work Control.
Generate equipment labels requested by engineering and superintendents
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in engineering or science may be substituted for two years of experience.
Experience: 10 years of applicable experience in:
Work Control, work package review, and approval cycle
Document editing and review
Updating and maintaining accurate information in a database application
Preferred Experience:
Experience with InfoWorks and supporting tools.
Competent with Microsoft Office software suite
Knowledge of WTP Document Management processes and procedure requirements.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with project team members at all levels of the organization.
Ability to be pro-active, use individual initiative, follow assignments through to completion, and adhere to deadlines.
Work Control experience in the DOE / ISMS / VPP / Commercial Nuclear environment
Champs CMMS experience
Requirements management
Working with multiple disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC)
Auditing and maintaining configuration management of tracked information
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
(EFNM) Exposed Field Non-Manual
Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.
This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Must be able to work in the United States without Sponsorship
Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) badge for access to the Hanford site .
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $99,193.03 - $154,255.09 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
