The Courier Supervisor coordinates and oversees the daily performance of delivery teams, within a specified region, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently according to company standards and policies across a 24/7 staffing model: assists the Logistics Manager in planning, directing, and overall operation and delivers outstanding service to all customers. You Will: Provide leadership and supervises staff in assigned locations. Coordinate the work of the couriers in the assigned region to assure that production is consistent and service levels are maintained. Assist in managing the employee hiring process with the Logistics Manager. Supervise employees and team performance (complete performance evaluations), new employee orientation processes, and employee training (coaching, counseling, motivating) & manages employee performance by, and evaluating employees on a continual basis and handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Develop schedules for all locations to ensure minimal overtime: review and approve time/attendance entries of employees. Assist in the purchase/maintenance of Incyte Diagnostic's vehicles. Fill in to provide coverage for couriers as needed: perform site visits to customer locations as needed. Oversee Incyte Diagnostics' Transportation and other policies relating to the operation of vehicles for work-related reasons. Perform and support safety audits and inspections Adhere to all Incyte compliance policies and understand and follow all HIPAA guidelines. Assist in developing quality improvement metrics to monitor performance. Attend monthly Quality Improvement meetings. Assist in developing department budget. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent: bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of relevant supervisory experience. Valid driver's license required: clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), in support of Incyte Diagnostics' Transportation Policy Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Intermediate knowledge of computers: working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Multi-task efficiently and effectively as required. Understand and observe legal concepts (e.g., HIPAA, confidentiality) Ability to effectively work with leadership and staff at all levels of the organization.
