Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) serves as the tank farm operating contractor at the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. Our mission is to safely store, retrieve, and treat 53 million gallons of legacy radioactive and hazardous waste. This complex and critical work is carried out through a highly integrated, multidisciplinary approach that spans all areas of engineering and science.
In October 2024, the Department of Energy awarded the Hanford Integrated Tank Disposition Contract (ITDC) to Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure, LLC (H2C), a joint venture of BWXT Technical Services Group, Inc., Amentum Environment & Energy, Inc., and Fluor Federal Services, Inc. The 120-day transition from WRPS to H2C began on October 21, 2024, with the final transition date set for February 23, 2025.
To support this transition, we are building a dedicated team for the Contract Closeout Office and are actively seeking professionals at all levels to join us. If you have a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for tackling complex challenges, we want to hear from you! These positions can range from part time to full time roles with the potential of work-from-home options after three (3) months.
