Overview
The Facilities & Infrastructure Operations Division is responsible for plant engineering, plant energy and utility operations, and facility operations for the South campus and leased facilities, North Campus and Infrastructure Operations, the Physical Science facility, and the 300 Area. In addition, the Division oversees campus infrastructure such as fabrication and craft services, duplicating and mail services, relocations, receiving, distributed services, and maintains operations of roads, grounds, and utilities for the campus.
Responsibilities
The Facility Management, Management & Operations Program (M&OP) is responsible for facilitating safe, secure, and sustainable operations of assets while maintaining contract compliance by translating standards, implementing regulations, and applying building codes. This position will be responsible to support maintaining compliance with DOE’s requirements and guidance involving the maintenance and management of real property assets such that they remain in a suitable condition to accomplish DOE’s mission in a safe, secure, sustainable, and cost-effective manner.
The duties and accountabilities specifically assigned to this position include:
Partnering with finance to ensure correct work packages are entered in Maximo, the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Entry and maintenance of plant assets in the CMMS, including asset locations and hierarchy.
Ensure accurate data entry and maintain the integrity of the CMMS database.
Generate and analyze maintenance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide training and support to CMMS users, ensuring they are proficient in using the system.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CMMS.
Supporting the development and/or revision of programmatic documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA and 5 years of relevant experience -OR-
MS/MA or higher and 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a computerized maintenance management system, Maximo preferred.
Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to work with people effectively and possess strong problem-solving team-building skills; fosters collaboration and grows the skills of others.
Demonstrated experience developing and managing strong stakeholder/customer relationships.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to maintenance activities.
Engineering degree preferred.

This includes marijuana and cannabis derivatives, which are still considered illegal under federal law, regardless of state laws.
