We value your work and we want your input!General operational duties for this role include....Develop spreadsheets using ExcelPrepare data and receive data Track Surveillance program results using Excel SpreadsheetsAnswer telephoneSchedule appointmentsGreet and register patients utilizing proper registration procedures.Gather insurance information and collect co-pays as neededUpdate and file patient medical recordsPrepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and cleanPerform inventory of supplies and equipmentPerform routine maintenance of administrative and clinical equipmentApply computer techniques to support clinic operationsArrange for required follow-up servicesGeneral clinical duties of this role include....Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and heightShow patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the mid-level practitionerRecord patient*s medical history, vital statistics and information such as test results in the EMRPerform basic laboratory testsHelp MLP*s examine and treat patients, handing them instruments and materials or performing such tasks as giving injections and removing suturesApply principles of aseptic technique and infection controlOther things you may do....Support of and participation in educational and quality improvement processesSupport of and participation in practice-promoting activities, e.g., educational talks, as the opportunity arises Support and work in close cooperation with the Regional Operations Director to ensure optimal clinic operationComport herself or himself during off-duty hours in a manner that best represents their profession, Medcor, Inc. and Medcor*s partner.Minimum Education and Certification requirements:Must have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) skills.Medical assistant or equivalent clinical training from a certified medical assistant program preferred but not required. CMA or RMA certifications preferred but not required. Previous work experience in customer service or as an administrative assistant. Previous work history in a clinical setting is preferred (clinic, medical practice, hospital).Minimum Experience Requirements:Experienced at working in an office environment. Strong telephone and organizational skills. Post-graduate experience is preferred but is not required. Computer Skills:Possesses keyboarding skills and experience. Requires ability to enter data into software programs, generate reports, and utilize resources to generate account specific reports. Can perform basic word
