A leading engineering and construction firm seeks a skilled CAD Software Specialist to join their team at the groundbreaking Hanford Vit Plant project. Play a key role in designing a first-of-its-kind facility dedicated to environmental cleanup.

Job Title: CAD Software Specialist

Location: Richland, WA

Pay Range: $ 37-40/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Elicit requirements to support information management, data validation, and data ownership work activities.

  • Apply knowledge of 3D modeling, P&ID principles, and practices to data integration using commercial-off-the-shelf software.

  • Coordinate with technical team members in areas related to engineering authoring and integration tools.

  • Produce artifacts to convey data integration and management activities for review and coordination.

  • Assist in training on-project users in the use of engineering software.

  • Maintain organization and accomplish assigned tasks within established budgets and schedules.

What’s Needed?

  • Strong understanding of CAD design and drafting principles.

  • Hands-on experience with database systems (e.g., Microsoft Access, Oracle, SQL Server).

  • Proven ability to integrate data between various systems and data types.

  • Familiarity with engineering/scientific principles and software applications.

  • Working knowledge of industry standards and relevant design codes.

  • US Citizenship (mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Bentley OpenPlant, Smart3D, or any 3D CAD modeling software.

  • Design production engineering experience.

  • Working knowledge of the application of ASME NQA-1 and DOE O 414.1C, relating to software development and software quality.
