We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager at our Richland, WA location. (Remote work permitted) Your Role: Support and manage nuclear program business development efforts, including the development of opportunity strategies, teaming arrangements, opportunity capture, and proposal text. Work with Tetra Tech Nuclear Program management in developing business plans and strategies for U.S. Government and commercial clients. Assist with preparing project staffing and cost estimates. Prepare and participate in company and client communications, meetings, and presentations. Support and manage engineering activities, when required and as available, for U.S. Government and commercial clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of U.S. DOE experience is required. Strong technical background in engineering principles and practices. Extensive experience in business development, marketing, and proposal preparation. Proven track record in developing projects for the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and commercial clients. Ability to lead multi-discipline project teams and demonstrate successful experience in business development and proposal preparation. Familiarity with regulatory requirements under DOE, DHS, Department of Defense (DOD), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is preferred. Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. Experience working with Federal Contracting policies. A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 yr. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
