Role Summary:

Highly valued commercial, small business, and municipal members require sophisticated business banking products and services; this role serves as an expert in this area.  Providing a high level of service, being a trusted financial partner, and offering relevant products and services are pillars Gesa Credit Union strives for every day.  This position will incorporate these pillars into job functions to provide exceptional member service.  Strong interpersonal skills are needed to collaborate with the commercial and small business loan officers. 

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Provide Exceptional Member Service.
  2. Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  3. Assist members with establishing new memberships, opening accounts, and treasury management service onboarding. 
  4. Provide service to highly valued commercial, small business, municipal members and assist with business banking needs such as transfers, online banking, initiating wire transfers, and deposit account maintenance. 
  5. Provide backup for call center and help desk functions
  6. Cross-sell consumer products and services, mortgage loans, and Gesa Financial Solutions. 
  7. Consistently develop and maintain member relationships by establishing frequent touchpoints to follow up with members on their experience and to thank them for their business.  
  8. Promote treasury management services and other digital banking initiatives.
  9. Identify issues and provide members with valued added solutions.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and security of member information according to regulatory and organization guidelines and policies.
  11. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Control risk and perform duties in a safe and sound manner.
  12. Complete assigned training programs in a timely and accurate manner. Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars if approved by the Team Leader.
  13. Demonstrate and support credit union values and service standards.
  14. Provides member service according to the exceptional service and experience standards outlined by management. 
  15. Other duties and projects as assigned to assist the commercial department and its commercial banking members. 
  16. Attend ongoing BSA training to include webinars, training provided by CPA's, and obtain BSA certification.
