Position Summary You will be working as part of the engineering team assisting EGS, automation engineers, and project users in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources. You will work with the Engineering Automation team on schedule and reporting work progress. You will work to organize and coordinate software lifecycle documents, create users accounts, update Engineering Automation website with latest information, perform routine data quality checks, provide user assistance related to automation tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines in your day-to day work activities. This position is a full-time role that works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off. This position may require periodic travel to the Richland, Washington project office via business trips. Relocation to the Richland, Washington project office or job site may be required in the future if business requirements change. Responsibilities * The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the users by providing access or creating user accounts to software and applications supported by Engineering Automation. He/she will perform routine data quality checks and support the EGS, Lead, and engineers in tracking of information, locating documents and/ or document preparation. * The Engineering Technologist supports training presentations, including preparing training documents and slides. * The Engineering Technologist supports in the preparation of change management documents under the engineer supervision. * The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed on schedule with high quality standards for nuclear facilities. * In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines. * Support the creation of a work environment that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
