Job Duties/Scope Of Work HMIS IT Auditor is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on IT audit engagements. This role involves assessing the effectiveness of IT controls, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to enhance IT governance and security. The following are the job duties: * Plan and perform IT audits to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls and processes. * Assess the security, reliability, and integrity of IT systems and data. * Identify and assess IT-related risks and vulnerabilities. * Develop risk-based audit plans and strategies. * Review and test IT controls, including access controls, change management, and data protection measures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. * Document audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations in clear and concise audit reports in accordance with Global Audit Standards. * Present audit results to management and stakeholders, highlighting key issues and areas for improvement. * Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions. * Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that identified issues have been addressed. * Work closely with IT and business units to understand processes and systems. * Provide guidance and support to enhance IT governance and risk management practices. * Stay updated on emerging IT risks, technologies, and audit methodologies. * Contribute to the development and improvement of IT audit processes and tools. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or a related field. Desired Qualifications Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) are preferred.
