GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overseeing financial transactions within our organization, ensuring that the accounts payable and receivable processes run smoothly and efficiently. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, facilitating timely processing of invoices and payments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, as the supervisor will need to regularly analyze financial reports and performance metrics. Additionally, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and clients will be essential to ensure seamless financial operations. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor will also play a significant role in implementing improvements and automation within the department to enhance operational efficiency. We are looking for an individual who not only possesses technical accounting knowledge but also demonstrates exceptional leadership and communication skills to foster a collaborative team environment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable and Receivable staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices to customers and vendors, payments, and collections in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Review payment batches, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes were followed. Conduct regular audits of accounts payable and receivable processes to identify discrepancies and improve accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain and foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.

Train and mentor accounts payable and receivable staff, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and professional development.

Must participate on the Emergency Response team (ERO) when designated.

Must support the biennial refueling outage.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires a bachelor’s degree from and accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field and 5 years of experience in a financial field, which includes a minimum of 1 year in supervision/management and 3 years of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience. Experience must include managing diverse functions with a high level of problem-solving responsibility.

Pay Range

$119,107.00 - $178,661.00 Annual

Midpoint:

$148,884.00

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
