We are a water well drilling company that typically drills 6" residential wells using the air rotary method. Candidates must have a desire to obtain drilling license and make a career of drilling. This is an entry level position, no experience is required. You will be assisting the licensed driller as requested on the job site, shop and with maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Driving company vehicles will be required and will be approximately 20% of the time. The rest of the time will be doing the following: -Motivated, hard working, no fears -Climbing the mast, can't be afraid of heights -Support company's safety culture, actively participate in safety meetings -Be flexible, working outdoors and out of town -Represent company in a positive manner -Defer all well questions to driller -Listen and communicate with the driller -Drilling comes first so make sure driller has everything he needs when he needs it -The ability to obtain and keep current CDL -Know how to drive and maintain trucks on and off road -Mechanical aptitude -Metal fabrication, cutting and welding -Keep site and all vehicles and equipment clean and organized -Physically able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis Skills Required: -CDL license (have or ability to get) -Welding and cutting -Mechanical aptitude -Good communication skills -Positive attitude -Self motivated
