PACCAR Inc. Warranty Analyst Job in Renton, Washington

Requisition Summary The Warranty Analyst evaluates replacement parts, warranty claims and makes payment decisions. The analyst identifies and communicates warranty issues and assists in resolution. Job Functions / Responsibilities Evaluates complex claims and makes claim payment decisions per departmental procedures and company policies. Responds to dealer inquiries and communicates division policies and procedural requirements in a professional and timely manner. Process supplier credits (Including Cummins) Supports procedures requested by the Vendor Recovery Specialist. Communicates warranty issues to department management, Marketing, Purchasing, suppliers and truck divisions as necessary. Presents appeal claims and provides recommendations to the Policy Review Board as required. Assists in development of the Warranty department web site and internal references using FrontPage. Creates and maintains databases, analyses, graphs and reports, using Access and Excel. Trains dealer/direct warranty and service personnel through web classes, preparing and revising class content as required. Skills / Competencies Bachelor's degree required One year of data entry and customer service experience required Knowledge of the PACCAR dealer organization and warranty system a plus. Experience utilizing Excel, Access and Tableau. Able to work independently and make decisions based on policies and procedures Excellent verbal and written communication skills. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $86,350 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
