PACCAR Inc. Vehicle Technician Support Specialist in Renton, Washington

Requisition Summary As a Vehicle Support Specialist, you will become an expert on PACCAR Engines, Aftertreatment, and chassis Electrical Systems; provide accurate and timelysupport to PACCAR DealershipTechnicians; communicate technical informationto all PACCAR divisions; and act as the first point of dealercontact across all PACCAR Divisions with a goal of maximizing customer Uptime. This role can be based out of Renton, WA or Lewisville, TX. Job Functions / Responsibilities Provide direct Tier 1 technical support to Dealer Technicians by: Identifying customer concerns, reviewingtroubleshooting results, and providing timelyand accurate support using our internal case management tool TCS 365. Follow-up on repair progress to ensure maximum uptime in returning trucks to service. Provide software support on engine applications and some chassis applications that require special approvals and/or additional research and provide information to dealer technicians on these situations. Support cross-functional projects including, but not limited to, service tools and documentation, product quality, and Voice of Customer. Escalate complex vehicle issues to Technical Lead, Tier 2 and 3 Field Support Teams, and leadership teams as appropriate. Attain and maintain all PACCAR Engine Certifications and staying current on industry systems and technologies. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Qualifications Automotive or Diesel Technical Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to earn and maintain technical certifications 1+ years of experience in automotive and/or diesel engine diagnostics required, OEM dealership experience strongly preferred Fundamental understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems and demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently diagnose component and/or system faults. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $65,500 - $89,760 annually.
