The Tours & Events Coordinator is part of the Human Resources team and will be responsible for managing the schedule for the location's Tours, Events, Employee Engagement activities, and Community Outreach programs. In addition, the role will be responsible for preparing various communications through various media outlets, sourcing/managing vendors, and maintaining a budget. Job Functions / Responsibilities Manage/Coordinate Tours held at Kenworth Truck Company which includes: managing the tours/events schedule for the facility and processing tour requests for internal/external customers. Approximately 400+ tours held per year. Manage/Coordinate events held at Kenworth Truck Company which includes: VIP events, sales events, on-site classes, employee appreciation events, food celebrations, recruiting events, retirement parties, and service anniversary parties. Event sizes range from 5 - 2,000 people. Coordinate Community Outreach & Charitable Donation activities for company sponsored agencies, recruitment activities, and local events. Maintain budgets for tour/event related activities to ensure logistics are executed flawlessly, delivered on-time and within budget. Ability to source/oversee various vendors for a variety of tour/event related needs.
