This position will be a lead analyst role and central point of contact on the Enterprise Credit Risk Assessment (ECR) team, responsible for ensuring BCC’s compliance, as a non-bank financial institution, with the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) diligence regulations and requirements. The analyst will perform comprehensive reviews and risk assessments of transaction parties (customers, trusts, trustee, guarantors, financial institution, etc.) following standard procedures and utilizing internal and external research tools to verify flow of funds to and from legitimate sources. Key responsibilities:

  • Perform initial AML/KYC review for new BCC customers and all applicable counterparties

  • Perform annual refreshes for BCC customers and assets

  • Perform diligence checks for outbound BCC Treasury wire recipients

  • Escalate potential money laundering or financial crime to management and/or compliance and regulatory functions

  • Support internal annual AML/KYC process audits

  • Act as subject matter expert and liaison to BCC’s ECR, Customer Finance, Asset Management, Contracts, Finance and Legal teams

  • Manages the retention and documentation of AML/KYC and Personal Identifiable Information (PII) within Boeing’s secure servers and acts as a liaison with Boeing Global Privacy

  • Lead ongoing process improvement and refinement for diligence and risk assessment activities and workflow – design, build, improve and execute

  • Works closely with multinational regulatory agencies to ensure AML/KYC requirements are met in multiple jurisdictions for a multinational non-bank financial institution

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field

  • Experience in performing diligence and risk assessments for AML / KYC compliance on behalf of banks or non-bank financial institutions; including communicating findings to senior management, supporting annual audit and compliance review activities

  • Strong knowledge of the AML / KYC laws and regulatory environment related to the activities of a bank or non-bank financial institution

  • Experience in process or workflow design, implementation and management

  • Analytical problem-solving, strong written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • Financial and/or credit risk management, risk assessment experience

  • Experience applying compliance responsibilities in a multi-national financial institution framework

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute compliance training programs for broad range of stakeholders typically involved in financial transactions

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience.
