Description Senior Accountant, Religious CommunitiesHybrid The Senior Accountant for Mother Joseph Province, is responsible for providing accounting and financial analysis to support assigned local religious communities and sisters, consistent with the strategic goals, mission and values of the Sisters of Providence Congregation of which it is a part. It is expected that the focus of the position will be on providing essential services to local leaders and individual sisters, both active and retired. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the month-end closing process; providing monthly financial statements for the Administrative Center; review and analysis banking, investment and other financial information; and nurturing a team spirit and service mentality among all colleagues consistent with the mission and values of Providence. The function of the position actively incorporates the Mission and Values of the Sisters of Providence Congregation and the Mother Joseph Administrative Center. This position will be expected to work on site at our offices in Renton some portion of each week. The target start date for this hire is January 2025. Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Staff members are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Staff members will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. 8 years of Professional level accounting experience, preferably in non-profit or religious community accounting. Work record demonstrates personal integrity, veracity, and trust. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration. Why Join Providence?
