Providence St. Joseph Health Procedural Scheduler in Renton, Washington

Description The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all surgical cases for all Operating Rooms (FH Main, SDS, SOI, CH) using the Epic Optime Scheduling system. This position requires scheduling surgical case information via fax or phone provided by surgeon offices to include selecting and reserving specific equipment for the case. This position is accountable for accurate patient and surgical procedure information entered into the scheduling system. The Surgery Scheduler maintains positive and professional customer relations and seeks client feedback. This position functions as a collaborative and participative member of an interdisciplinary team, consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services Department and Swedish Medical Center. Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Health Care or equivalent educ/experience Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 1 year similar or related field (i.e., physician's office, scheduler, etc.) Why Join Providence?
