Center for Diagnostic Imaging PRN X-Ray/C-arm Technologist in Renton, Washington

The pay range for this position is $29.92-$46.72 based on direct and relevant experience. This position is eligible for an evening shift differential. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Chief Technologist, assures that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards. Maintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company. This is a temporary/PRN position working hours as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (85%) Imaging Produces diagnostic images in assigned area Performs quality control tasks as assigned Promotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors, and other company personnel Maintains an orderly and clean work area to promote good safety habits for patients and co-workers Maintains accurate patient records within Radiologic Information System (RIS) Works with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in Surgical and Outpatient procedures (10%) Department Support Participates in staff meetings with employee involvement Assists in maintaining an updated radiographic protocol manual Answers department phone calls (5%) Performs other duties as assigned New Grads Welcome COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy Knowledge of current technical skills and procedural understanding to perform a full range of radiologic scanning procedures and injections Knowledge of and adherence to ALARA principles Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion Skill in written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time arrival to work as scheduled Ability to deliver high quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassion Ability to recognize potential abnormalities, adjust process and communicate with radiologist as appropriate Ability to remain calm in difficult situations Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level Ability to operate and adjust scanning and ancillary equipment SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Required: ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification Training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently Preferred: Bilingual RAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
