Description:

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a POS System Program Manager Starbucks Group to our location in Renton, WA.

We are seeking a POS System Program Manager Starbucks Group to be responsible for all program information systems of the Providence Starbucks Group. Serves as a process point of contact for the organization. Reports to the PSG Executive. This position performs retail POS systems analysis, interfaces with users to support functional requirements development, analyzes tools and techniques to support the development of systems, troubleshoots and monitors performance, implements updates and third-party solution integrations used by the café operations functions. Maintains DBMS updates. Provides retail POS systems, equipment, implementations, and support for multi-state/site program with multi-partner integrations. Expertise in Programming SDKs (e.g. VB, Java, JS, AE, SQL, etc.), SAS, Cloud solutions and multiple form factors. Coordinates with stakeholders to define business needs and systems requirements. Develops and presents recommendations and supporting analysis for management decisions. Creates and reviews technology RFPs. Plans and manages project development and implementation schedules. Collaborates with internal and third-party partners to manage development, integration, implementation, training and support of all IS initiatives and projects. Plans and implements effective quality control and testing processes to ensure efficacy. Conducts remote and/or onsite training to system users. Develops training materials and resources for users. Confers with system users to document and solve existing system and equipment problems. Monitors system performance to determine whether adjustments may be needed, and to determine where changes may be required in the future. Provides quality assurance and oversight to ensure compliance to contract and operations standards and guidelines. Reviews and validates that configuration management policies and procedures provide thorough requirements traceability through version release and adequate documentation to support system operation and maintenance. Attend meetings, conferences, and seminars to support the customer needs as may be recommended or required. Attendance assists in maintaining currency of technical, procedural and acquisition knowledge.

In this position you will:

  • Support Starbucks Group with all IS systems

  • Liaison to IS vendors

  • Develop and oversee IS budgets

  • Lead IS equipment and services selection, set-up, and vendor administration

  • Project management for new café launches, required portfolio improvements, and integrations

  • Manage IS integration and implementation projects across portfolio

  • Maintain and update Oracle Micros POS, Oracle modules, and third-party service solutions; POS systems, equipment, implementation, and support

  • Administration of Starbucks DMD, including: products, promotions, and scheduled pricing updates

  • Troubleshoot and provide support on equipment, software, upgrades, and integrations

  • Conduct store IS site assessments for initial opening and ongoing efficacy

  • Provide IS training onsite for new store staff

  • Train site super users for all systems as needed

  • Create training materials, job aids, and reporting tools

  • Develop reoccurring and ad hoc reports as required

  • Prepare technical reports, documents, studies, and system documentation as required

Qualifications:

Required qualification for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Applied Computing, Computer Engineering, computer Science & Software Engineering, Software Design & Development or equivalent experience

  • 5 years IS/IT Analyst

  • 5 years Project Management

  • 2 years DMD Management

  • 2 years IS/IT Support

  • 2 years Programming

Preferred qualification for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Applied Computing, Computer Engineering, computer Science & Software Engineering, Software Design & Development or Masters twelve years of experience with increasing responsibility

  • 10 or more years IS/IT project management in large highly matrixed organization increasing level of responsibility
