The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Marketing & Customer Specialist - Airline Value Analysis to join our team located Renton, Washington.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical expert in support of Commercial Airplanes Sales & Marketing initiatives by analyzing and quantifying the economic and financial aspects of Boeing products and services relative customers’ needs and competitive offerings. Specifically, the role requires expertise in aircraft operating and introductory costs, maintenance costs, flight crew cost modeling, value analysis and proficiency in the areas of financial analysis.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative, persuasive presentations and value analyses that create a preference for Boeing products in support of sales campaigns

  • Confidently present comprehensive airplane and flight crew economic value stories to customers, industry forums, Boeing executive management and trade associations

  • Develop feasibility studies that demonstrate the financial benefits of Boeing airplanes in an airline's system and assist airlines in optimizing fleet plans

  • Continually seek new, innovative ways to present Boeing products and services favorably in the market to a variety of audiences including airlines, lessors, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MROs), media, and the financial community.

  • Create and maintain economic and financial methods and models that support the business function.

  • Work with airline customers to develop business plans, including financial forecasts that meet the Export Credit Agency (e.g US Ex-Im bank) or commercial loan requirements to obtain airplane financing

  • Serve as a resource within Boeing, capable and proficient in the areas of financial analysis including: airplane ownership costs, cash flow, net present value, internal rate of return, knowledge of industry financial health, hard currency analysis, and lease vs. buy analysis

  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years’ experience working with Boeing products

  • 1+ years’ experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Previous or current pilot experience with working knowledge of FAA FARs

  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience analyzing airline market or financial data

  • Familiarization with both Boeing competitor products & services

  • Prior commercial aviation industry experience including airline or lessor

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3) : Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master +3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:

Mid-Level (Level 3): $101,150 - $136,850

Senior (Level 4) : $130,050 - $175,950
