The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Business Operations Specialist to join the team in Renton, WA .

Boeing Capital Corporation (BCC) is a global provider of financing solutions for customers of Boeing Commercial Airlines, Boeing Defense, Space and Security, and Boeing Global Services. We are looking to add a dynamic Business Operations Specialist to our Boeing Capital operations team. This position will assist in running Boeing Capital Corporation's overall operating rhythm and the individual in this position will play a key role in supporting senior leadership, BCC’s management information system, and a variety of other projects relating to business management, onboarding new employees, team-building, and digital transformation.

This role focuses on efficient communication: between BCC and other Boeing teams in the building, integrating information between BCC teams, and sharing information between leadership and employees. This includes but is not limited to website support, sharing new resources with the admin team, supporting executive messaging with all-hands meetings and monthly business reviews. Recent special projects included a construction project, launching a desk reservation app, building a new website, and connecting employees to various enterprise resources. This role requires creativity and flexibility. It also requires strong attention to detail, clear and concise communication, and robust project management skills.

The Business Operations Specialist will perform tasks in a variety of areas:

  • Business Operations

  • Project management

  • Information integration

  • Facilitating meetings

  • Interfacing with senior leadership to meet deliverables and support operations

  • Website management

  • Facilities focal

  • Engage with building and regional safety teams

The Business Operations Specialist will work to understand business requirements and facilitate efficient and effective processes that enable BCC to deliver value across the enterprise. The Business Operations Specialist will work across level and function on various short and long-term projects. The role provides an opportunity to impact Boeing Capital business imperatives, lead through process management, and leverage business operations best practices.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Content integration, process management, leadership reviews for recurring Business Planning Review and All-Team meetings

  • Facilitate robust onboarding support for new employees in conjunction with BCC hiring managers

  • Program facilitator for BCC University employee development program

  • Capture ideas/opportunities for improvements to process and/or technology

  • Assist senior leaders, managers, and employees to meet requirements and enhance business processes

  • Track and manage KPIs as-needed by the business leaders

  • Collect, manage, and provide status for risks and opportunities; manage and coordinate project status reviews

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher

  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status

  • 4+ years relevant work experience (e.g. business operations, business management, project management)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Industry Experience in Aviation, Finance, or project management

  • Problem-solving skills and creativity

  • Microsoft office – PowerPoint and excel

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
